A striking large piece of glass that is simply stunning in its simplicity. the piece was created to illustrate how to incorporate a little chemistry into a work of art. The black opaque base is overlaid with cream and turquoise glass, when these glasses fuse together they create a special magic. The result is very striking, a soft black line surrounds the turquoise glass, with the black leaching slightly into the cream, meanwhile the cream appears to have a slightly lighter boarder where it is in contact with the black. The corners are slightly pushed out, giving the whole piece a small level of movement. A truly beautiful piece.
- This product is a large rectangle and has a small raised section at the outer edges.
- Crafted using black, cream and turquoise opaque glass, with the addition of clear transparent glass base
- The glass has been fired twice to achieve the desired finish
- This product is not coated with transparent glass so I can’t recommend it to be used with unwrapped food.
