A Simply stunning design, the gentle curve of the softly transparent glass gives an illusion of flower petals, that is reflected in the undulating shape of the edge of the bowl, the petal shaped overlaid transparent glass lightens the deeper colours, providing an interesting contrast of colour. The piece appears to flow both from the bottom upwards and from the edge downwards, drawing the eyes up and down, finally setting on the vibrant yellow transparent glass at the centre of the bowl, the upper outside portion of the bowl is slightly obscure providing a contrast of colours. The amazing thing about the piece is what happens when you hold it up to the light?
- This product is oval with scalloped edges.
- Crafted using transparent yellow glass with transparent dark blue with partial transparent overlays
- This product is not coated with transparent glass so I can’t recommend it to be used with unwrapped food.
- The glass has been fired twice to achieve the desired finish
